Student Graduation Pathways

Proficiency Pathway (Goal Proficient or Advanced on each exam)
  • Algebra I:  (Must achieve 1500)
  • Biology:  (Must achieve 1500)
  • Literature:  (Must achieve 1500)
  • Composite Score Pathway (When adding Algebra + Biology + Literature Scores, the Goal is 4452)
  • At least one score is proficient or advanced, and no score is below basic.
Grade passing requirements for Keystone content areas (Algebra I, Biology and Literature) AND one of the following:
  • PSAT Composite Score (Goal 970)
  • SAT Composite Score (Goal 1010)
  • Transfer Student (Grad Report) Algebra Score
  • Transfer Student (Grad Report) Algebra Performance Level
  • Transfer Student (Grad Report) Biology Score
  • Transfer Student (Grad Report) Biology Performance Level
  • Transfer Student (Grad Report) Literature Score
  • Transfer Student (Grad Report) Literature Performance Level
  • ASVAB (Goal AFQT Score  31)
  • 4 Year College Acceptance (Goal:  Yes)
Grade passing requirements for Keystone content areas (Algebra I, Biology and Literature) AND 3 pieces of evidence including one of the following:
  • Attainment of SAT subject test score of 630, AP exam score of 3, IB exam score of 3
  • Attainment of Silver Level or better on ACT WorkKeys
  • Postsecondary Acceptance (other than a 4-year institution)
  • Industry recognized credential
Successful completion of concurrent enrollment or post-secondary course AND two of the following:
  • Attainment of Proficient or Advanced on any Keystone Exam
  • Satisfactory completion of service project (Listed at bottom of the page under Act 158 Resources).
  • Satisfactory completion of an internship or cooperative education program
  • Documentation of full-time employment or military enlistment
  • Satisfactory compliance with NCAA core courses with a minimum GPA of 2.0
Grade passing requirements for Keystone content areas (Algebra I, Biology and Literature and one of the following:
  • Satisfactory completion of local requirements & attain industry certification
  • NOCTI exam
In Addition to:
English: 
4 Courses (English 9, 10, 11 & 12)
Social Studies: 
4 Courses (US History I, US History II, World Cultures, Government and Economics)
Mathematics: 
3 Courses (Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II)
Science: 
3 Courses (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
Physical Education: 
3 Courses (Physical Education 9, Physical Education 10-12, or Fitness and Sport)
